Inland
Empire E.H.R. Resource Center (IEEHRC) is a Local Extension Center
(LEC) whose mission is to help Priority Primary Care Providers adopt and use
Electronic Health Records and a source for technical assistance and support
for those already using an EHR, and helping those with an EHR progress to demonstrating
meaningful use.
Historically many EHR implementations have had
limited success and ROI. IEEHRC is a service designed
to help Physicians and Allied Health Professionals succeed in their transition
from a paper-based practice to one which uses an EHR
by facilitating Education, Readiness and Workflow Assessment, Cost Analysis,
Budget, and Coordination of Hardware and Software Vendors to maximize ROI and
enable Physicians to begin receiving the federal incentive payments.
